POST—MATTER is a multidisciplinary design studio by Adele Zavagno. She is a designer based between Italy and the Netherlands who works with local and discarded materials merging the worlds of textiles and biodesign.

About the practice
Graduated from a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Fashion Design from Politecnico di Milano, she started her own upcycling practice in 2021, culminated in the publication of her research thesis on upcycling as a design strategy in 2023. After graduating in she worked for 3 years as industrial designer in the field of luxury leather goods. She enrolled in The Material Way international program in 2025, focusing on local and bio-based materials. The outcome of this program was showcased during London Design Festival in 2025. She collaborates with fellow creatives and artists, creating custom wearable artifacts. She participated at the 2026 edition of the Design Fair in Rotterdam (Nieuwe Instituut) and Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week in Enschede (NL) during a 3-months artist residency at ARE Holland (2026).
