Angie Aguirre

About the practice

Angie studied Communication Sciences in Córdoba, Argentina, before moving to Germany in 2004. Her work sits at the intersection of fashion, textiles, sustainability, communication, and social change. After moving to Berlin, she co-founded HOLABERLIN in 2007, an incoming tourism venture. In 2012, she founded Therapy Recycle & Exorcise together with her sister Poli, with a presence in Berlin and Argentina. Her growing involvement in sustainable fashion led her to collaborate with Fashion Revolution Germany and create Green Fashion Tours, using the city as a space to explore sustainable fashion and raise awareness around the industry. She has since been involved with initiatives including Future Fashion Forward e.V., Circular City – Zirkuläre Stadt e.V., and the Reuse Superstore Initiative in Berlin. In 2024, she co-founded RARE Store & Collective, followed by LOCA Collective in 2025, supporting independent, alternative, and circular creative practices. Alongside her work in fashion and activism, Angie is a textile artist with Fabric Actions, exploring discarded materials, craft, memory, and transformation through textile-based work. Across her different practices, she uses fashion, textiles, and creative collaboration to question systems of consumption and explore more circular, inclusive, and imaginative ways of creating.
