About the practice
Creating something new while being sustainable is a joy to take part in. I came up with created thrifts to show that used clothes have so much life left, it’s just up to us to put life into it. Everything made by us is thrifted. From the fabrics to the elastic bands to the thread. I only make things based on what I’ve been able to find while thrifting. But not everything has to be thrifted… Your child’s old clothes can be made into pillows, keychains or even accessories for your clothes. Your dad’s old shirts can be made into pants for your kids. Anything can be made into something. Creativity will never run out!
