About the practice
Diana by Design is an independent fashion and textile design studio where creative reuse meets sophisticated, one-of-a-kind design. Founded and crafted by me, each piece begins with the discovery of overlooked garments and textiles, transformed through an intuitive interplay of color, texture, structure, and unexpected detail. With a foundation in engineering, computer graphics, and graphic design, I bring technical precision and an artistic sensibility to the design process. My work moves beyond conventional upcycling, embracing reconstruction as an art form and transforming pre-loved materials into expressive, beautifully considered fashion. From sculptural denim jackets and dramatic bell-bottoms to distinctive skirts and accessories, each creation reflects a commitment to individuality, craftsmanship, and enduring style. Materials once considered ordinary are given new context and elevated through thoughtful design and meticulous construction.
