About the practice

As a lifelong visual artist, I discovered the art of fabric block-printing by way of getting through a particularly difficult art block. I was enamored and inspired by all of the possibilities that unfolded while testing out printing on different fabrics. Over months and months of trials, research, designing, and hand carving dozens of blocks, I began offering custom printing in-person at markets, and consigning customized garments at local small businesses. Using specialized ink that adheres to and cures permanently to nearly every fabric type, I now offer total garment, accessory and fabric customization using primarily upcycled materials. My practice is exceptionally low-waste and also low-water use.
