About the practice

Carousel was founded from my personal needs when shopping for second hand clothing for my daughter. I found it difficult to find affordable gently used children's clothing that matched our style preferences and was in good condition. At the same time, I knew from what I saw and heard in my own community how much gently used kidswear was not getting to the next family. Carousel bridges these two issues with a new approach to secondhand children's clothing, including less expensive items. The capsule was designed to be a fun, affordable way for families to buy preloved items in the right size, season and style by eliminating the operational costs of reselling items individually. The use of two price tiers and a short-but-impactful Style Quiz help make sure a broad range of styles get to just the right next family.
