Fade & Flourish
Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada
Hi, I’m Robyn and I started Fade & Flourish because I couldn’t ignore how many jeans end up in landfills (they can take 200 years to break down!). Instead of waste, I see possibility. Every bag I make is from upcycled denim—creative, sustainable, and useful. Let’s turn faded threads into flourishing style. 💙

About the practice
Hi, I’m Robyn– and this is Fade & Flourish I started this journey because I couldn’t stop thinking about all the denim ending up in landfills. Did you know jeans can take up to 200 years to decompose? That’s a lot of wasted fabric and a lot of impact on our planet. Instead of letting those old jeans fade away, I decided to give them a second life – and help them flourish. Every bag I create is made from up-cycled denim, turning forgotten pieces into something beautiful, creative, and useful. For me, sustainable fashion isn’t just a trend. It’s a movement. A chance to rethink waste, honour creativity, and make pieces that tell a story. Fade & Flourish is all about slowing down, caring for the planet, and carrying something that truly matters. Follow along for designs, stories, and the journey of turning faded threads into flourishing style. 💙
