About the practice
I create colourful, unique pieces from second-hand and pre-loved fabrics, giving forgotten textiles a new life. From old curtains and tablecloths to quilts and other unexpected treasures, I see beauty and possibility in materials that might otherwise be left behind. Every fabric has its own character and charm, and I love transforming these everyday textiles into something completely new. I make one-of-a-kind ready-to-wear pieces for people who want to wear something different: colourful, playful garments with personality, made to stand out and be loved for years to come. No two pieces are ever quite the same, because every fabric brings its own story and peculiarities. I also take on special commissions, transforming fabrics that hold precious memories into garments you can wear and cherish forever. Perhaps it’s your grandma’s old curtains, the tablecloth that was always on the family dinner table, a beloved quilt, or your dad’s favourite shirt. Instead of keeping these meaningful textiles tucked away in a cupboard, I can turn them into a piece of clothing that carries a little piece of your past into your everyday life. The things we love deserve to be worn, not forgotten.
